Founded in 1978 in Germany BHT is one of the acknowledged market leaders in the design and manufacturing of innovative washer-disinfectors (WD) for hospitals and laboratories.
The range of products extends from small under-the-counter WDs, to pass-through and to large scale washer-disinfectors, like multi-chamber tunnel and cart washer. These machines are used to clean, disinfect and dry lab glassware, surgical instruments, MIS instruments, rigid & flexible endoscopes, anaesthetic material, including corrugated hoses, all kinds of containers, bottles, utensils and, and, and.
To load these items into a machine for maximum exposure and safety sometimes
requires specifically designed loading racks and baskets which BHT manufactures
according to customer requirements.
During the past 25 years BHT engineers have developed a large quantity of patents from dosing control systems (flow meter) to special racks for hoses (ROTO system). The aim has always been to find the best way to solve a problem and to serve our valued customers.
Seeing the great potential of BHT, Mr. Zwingenberger decided in 1998 to purchase the company. Since that time, and also due to the synergistic effects especially with the sister company SciCan in Canada and their extensive worldwide network of agents, BHT was able to intensify their export business considerably.
